What to Wear to The Polo

This year will be the first year I have been in Melbourne to attend the Polo In The City. As a newbie to the event, I've been doing my research on what one should wear.

Firstly, I'm starting with the shoes. I'm not normally the biggest fan of block heels or wedges, but in this case, I think I'll make an exception!

Secondly, the Polo is not the races, so I want to go for a more relaxed, casual vibe. I'm loving these Alice McCall playsuits, as well as flowing dresses, and have been inspired by the latest lookbook from Zimmermann.

Lastly, the Polo is the place to wear a nice, wide-brim hat to keep you protected throughout the day - this isn't the place for a fascinator! I'm on the hunt for the perfect hat, and am especially loving the black boater that I styled these looks with.
